Why did you create the Read Along Audio Bible?

My two passions are the Word of God and technology. This project allows me to marry these two passions in a meaningful way.

I get to pray, meditate and ponder on the word while I create the videos. I have an opportunity to share the word with a wider audience that may be interested in it.

I am convinced that God’s word is what it claims to be (the inspired inerrant) word of God.

I also believe that God’s word will not return to him void. Isaiah 55:11

Why use the World English Bible?

The World English Bible is a modern English translation that is in the public domain. I wanted to use a modern English translation to help make the Bible as accessible to as possible to as many English readers as possible without running into any copyright infringement.

Are your slide decks available in other formats?

Yes. I am working to make my decks available in PDF format. You can view and download them here.

What’s Next?

After we complete the Old and New Testament we would like to do the Tanakh. We are also considering doing other languages if the opportunity arises. Personally, I am unilingual English but am willing and interested in reaching other language groups if possible.
